Who Am I?

​

I am a mommy to two beautiful and sweet little girls and a wife to the most wonderful man a girl could ask for. (and I might add, has supported me without wavering on this photographic journey)

Here are some silly things about me:

- I always choose baked goods over candy and chips

- I always choose caramel over fudge

- I still have friends that I have known since before kindergarten

- I feel the need to make everyone watch Dumb & Dumber

- I love the LORD GOD with all my heart

 

What Kind Of Photographer Am I?

 

I am a lifestyle photographer! This means that although sometimes necessity calls for a posed photograph, I would MUCH rather let loose and let you and your family relax and have FUN! Lets let the kids run around and explore and not worry about the fly away hair or the tear rolling down their cheek or about capturing the "perfect" smile... lets CAPTURE all those moments in-between the poses because that's what is real!

 

Why Do I Do This?

Ever since I can remember, I have always seen the world in pictures.... the light from the sun bouncing off a subject, the shape of the waves as it rolls, all the beautiful colors and shapes in an eye full of light. I often find myself needing to stop and press the shutter on my camera to capture sweet little moments like my kids playing or an insect on a plant. And then the love for doing this turned into a love for capturing sweet moments for other families. My mom bought me my first "big" camera (SLR) in grade 9 and I havent been able to put it down since!
